**10-DAY PROGRAM * * RUTA CRISTINA

DIA 01 EL CAIRO

Arrival at the Cairo International Airport, assistance from us through the visa, immigration, and customs procedures. Transfer to the hotel and accommodation

DAY 2
Breakfast. Excursion included to the pyramids of Gizeh (Cheops, Chefren and Mycerinus), the Sphinx of Guizeh, the temple of the valley of Chefren and a papyrus center. In the afternoon, optional excursion to Memphis, capital of the Old Empire, and the Sakkara necropolis.

DAY 03 CAIRO

Breakfast. Visit of the Coptic Orthodox Cathedral of Abbassea where you visit the tomb of Sammark and Saint Athansios and the Coptic Orthodox Church of Saint Mary in Zitun. and also if you visit the Vergen Maria tree in El Matarea

DAY 04  CAIRO /WADI EL NATRUN – CAIRO

Breakfast. Exit  In the morning towards Wadi el Natrun (100 km from Cairo) to visit the monasteries of El Sorian, El Baramos. And saint beshoi.

DAY 05 CAIRO / ZAAFARANA

Breakfast. Visit the Coptic neighborhood, a hanging church leaning on the ancient Roman fortress of “ Babylon” It is one of the oldest in the country. The church of Abu Serga was founded in the 4th century, it was rebuilt in the 11th century and tradition states that it was built over the grotto where the holy family took refuge during their flight to Egypt. The church is one of the main holy places of pilgrimage. red. Dinner.

DAY 06 ZAAFARANA

Full board. Excursion to visit the Coptic-Orthodox monasteries of Saint Paul and Saint Anthony. Which is said to be the first monastery in the world. Free afternoon.

DAY 07 ZAAFARANA / SUEZ/SANTA CATALINA

Breakfast. Departure to Mount Sinai, visiting the Suez route and the Catholic monastery of Wadi Firan. Arrival at the Morgen Land hotel. in  Saint Catherine. Dinner.

DAY 08 SANTA CATHERINE/ MOUNT SINAI/CAIRO

Whoever wishes can rest all night at the Hotel. Around 02:00 hrs. ascent to Mount Sinai
(see description on day 7 of the Santa Catalina program).
Breakfast and visit of the Monastery of Saint Catherine. Return to Him  Cairo

DAY 09 CAIRO

Breakfast, optional excursion of the city visiting the Museum of Pharaonic Art, the Alabaster Mosque located in the citadel of Saladin and finally a walk through the medieval neighborhood of Khan el – Khalili.

DAY 10 CAIRO / SPAIN

Breakfast. Flight to Spain. Arrival and end of the trip
